Year 2 Vol. 7 March 2026
The wait is finally over. The fields are turning green, the courts are buzzing, and that unmistakable energy of a new season is officially in the air! While winter was about grinding in the gym, Spring is about the roar of the crowd and the heat of the competition.
From the first pitch on the diamond to the high-stakes intensity of the volleyball court, our athletes have been putting in the work to make 2026 a year for the record books. We aren't just starting a new season; we’re starting a new chapter of highlights, upsets, and hometown glory.
JUAN GONZALEZ
Juan plays on the pins and swings with a heavy arm and produces fast paced kills and high energy plays that have led the Wolves to victory in tight situations. Juan is a gamer and shows up to every game to inspire his teammates to play their best. He is a fun player that can change the momentum in a game with a big swing on the outside or a stuff block.
ISAAC LOPEZ
Isaac is a very versatile player who typically sets and hits out of the opposite side. Isaac has a high volleyball IQ and makes the unexpected and sneaky plays that have players on the other team caught off guard. Isaac also has a powerful left-hand swing and huge block that is intimidating, effective and impressive to watch. He is a fun player to watch with big celebrations and an intense focus that leads his team offensively through attacking and setting.
OMAR SILVA
Libero for the boy's volleyball team Omar Silvia is the defense captain of the team. Omar's high energy on the back court, consistent passing, and all out defense makes him a player to watch in every game. Omar has a fast paced jump float delivering Aces each game and he can take an attack from the other team and turn it into an amazing dig that brings a huge momentum swing to the Westy Wolves to earn big points!

EVELYN LOPEZ
Junior center back Evelyn Lopez anchors the Wolves’ defense. Along with the rest of the back line, she has made every opposing goal hard-earned, consistently challenging attackers and protecting the net. Evelyn has also contributed offensively with a goal of her own this season.
FRIDA MARTINEZ
Senior goalkeeper Frida Martinez has made a huge impact between the posts for the Wolves. Her saves and leadership have kept the team within striking distance in every match this season. Frida’s consistency and composure in goal have been a key part of the team’s early success.
