School Requisites & Stationery List 2024/25
As you are aware, the Department of Education has again given a book grant to all primary schools to purchase school books for the children. Their school books have been purchased and labelled and the class teachers have them.
A list of stationery items that you must purchase for your child was sent out last week. The school requisite list has also been emailed to all the families for next year. Payment must be made before the beginning of the school year and it can be made via the Aladdin App.
6th Class Graduation
Yesterday afternoon, our 6th-class students celebrated their graduation in a memorable ceremony. It was a lovely occasion, and I want to extend my sincere thanks to all the boys and girls, our SNA Maria, Fr Vincent and Ms. Payne for their efforts in making today such a success.
Seeing so many parents and siblings in attendance was heartwarming. It has been a privilege to witness these pupils' grow over the past eight years. As they transition to secondary school, the entire school community wishes them the very best for the future.
To the families we are saying goodbye to, we are deeply grateful for your support over the years. Your help and kind words have been invaluable to us. On behalf of our entire school community, I extend our sincerest appreciation for your contributions and wish you and your families all the best in the years to come.
Cumann na mBunscol Updates
Cumann na mBunscol Track and Field Championship!
Well Done to the boys and girls who attended the Track and Field Championship at Claremont in Navan last Tuesday, you were all incredible! A special mention to our medal winners, Tom (800m) and Ellen (60m).
Division 3 Hurling Final
Hard Luck to our hurling squad who didnt get the start they would've liked against Moynalvey in the Division 2 Hurling Final last Friday. Despite some excellent phases of play from the Dangan team, it just wasn't our day. It was wonderful to see so many supporters there, and I know your encouragement meant a lot to the players as it did also to Mr. Kelly, and myself.
Despite the loss, I want to commend the team and Mr. Kelly for their outstanding season.
Meath Schools Selection
Best of luck to Tom and Conor, who have been selected for the Meath Schools Team that will take on Louth today in Louth. We've no doubt the boys will do both themselves and Dangan proud. Best of luck boys!
A Special Word of Thanks...
