Our last newsletter had information about a Veteran's Day parade we were hoping to having next Monday. Unfortunately, we only had one individual respond, so we have worked with PTA and student council to adjust our plans. Student council has created a video to share with the school, and we have a group coming to present a Purple Star banner to our students.

We will NOT be having the parade, but we hope to put one in place for next year and plan to get information out to families and veterans much sooner so they can work it into their schedules.

We value and appreciate all our military families and veterans who serve to protect the freedoms we hold so dear. We are grateful for you and for the sacrifices you make on our behalf!

This is the time of year where we have a lot of kids coming to school in shorts with no jacket asking if they can stay inside because they are cold. Please be sure your students dress warm and for the weather!

Oh, and using a fabric marker to put their name on clothing will help us return items that get left behind.

Speaking of left behind, we will be donating any items left in the lost and found over Thanksgiving break, so please come check if you are missing anything. Thanks for being amazing!

Beginning Monday, student devices will be accessible between the hours of 6am and 10pm.

We would also like to remind you that students should not share their username and password, even with siblings. We have had instances of students using another student's (or a sibling's) login information to access content they shouldn't. Thanks for helping us stay vigilant in keeping students safe.

Quick reminder that yearbooks are for sale in myDSD. They are currently $17/each. After January 31, 2025, they will jump up to $22/each. Thank you!

The Fall Festival was such a fun event. We are so grateful to those of you who joined us and to our PTA for all of their hard work. It is always wonderful when we are able to come together as a school community and create memories!
