Good Morning,
Thank you to all the families who came out to support our young athletes at the WECC Special Olympics event. I'm sure you'll agree—we had two terrific days filled with FUN and unforgettable memories! Enjoy the pictures in this week's newsletter.
A special shout-out to Weymouth SEPAC for helping to arrange a surprise visit from the Weymouth Wildcat mascot, which brought even more excitement to the event.
We appreciate your continued support and enthusiasm. Go team!
PreK screening:
On Tuesday, we had the pleasure of welcoming incoming students and their families for PreK screening. It was a wonderful opportunity to meet our new students and their families. The children had the chance to explore our school, meet our staff, and connect with their future classmates. It was a fantastic start to their journey with us!
Kindergarten Transition event:
Entering kindergarten is an important milestone in your child’s life and we want to celebrate this milestone with you and your child. Weymouth CFCE invites you to “Kindergarten Here I Come.” Every Weymouth resident with a child heading off to kindergarten is welcome to attend this fun filled event. Fall 2025 Kindergarteners will receive a free t-shirt and a book and will participate in fun activities. Families will have the opportunity to connect with Parent Councils and other community resources and partners.
See Flyer with complete details.

Parking:
This is a friendly reminder that families should refrain from parking in either of the lots near Town Hall - both the lower and upper lots, as noted in the diagram below. These lots are reserved for Town Hall use only. Families are welcome to park in the front of the building around the horseshoe or in the lot designated for staff highlighted in green. We appreciate your attention to this notice.
Have a great weekend!

I'm a Super Reader
Help us reach our goal of 10,000 books
One of the most important gifts we can give our children is to help them learn to read and write so that they can succeed in school and beyond. Confident, active readers are able to use their reading skills to follow their passions and curiosity about the world. We all read for a purpose: to be entertained, to take a journey of the imagination, to connect with others, to figure out how to do something, and to learn about history, science, the arts, and everything else.
We hope to foster the love of reading in our students. Please help us by helping your child read each day. Attached is a reading chart that your child can color each time they read a book. Bring the reading chart to school once all apples are colored and your child will receive a Super Reader sticker. You may choose to only read 10 books per month or submit as many reading charts as you want. We will be keeping track by classroom. If WECC students reach the goal of 10,000 books, we will have a Bubble party at the end of the year.

Great job to all of our Super Readers! We have reached our goal of 10,000 books read so far this school year. Let's see if we can keep the momentum going.
Looking forward to the bubble party to celebrate our success, in June.
