In the past couple years, you may have seen or heard about the Graduate Profile developed by BCPS. This profile is the culmination of businesses, community partners, and the public's input into what our graduates need in order to be successful in the workforce and the world. Although it is called a Graduate Profile, these competencies can be practiced and formed in all grade levels. Our staff has already begun incorporating the Graduate Profile language into our daily activities as we work to show students how much of what we already do can be tied to a competency in the profile.
The 6 Graduate Profile competencies are:

- Innovative Problem Solver
- Mastery Learner
- Self-Directed Navigator
- Productive Collaborator
- Community Contributor
Throughout the next couple months, we will use this space to feature each competency individually and focus on ways students and families can practice these skills at home. and school.
