Message from the Principal
Hello Woods Lake Families,
As we celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week, let's take a moment to recognize the incredible dedication our teachers show every day. Your support can make a difference in their efforts to improve student achievement and foster positive behavior.
Here are a few ways you can help:
- Share Gratitude: Encourage your child to write a thank-you note or create a small card for their teacher.
- Promote Attendance: Remind your child of the importance of being present and engaged in class. Every day counts!
- Encourage Positive Behavior: Discuss the value of respect and kindness towards teachers and classmates.
Your involvement helps create a vibrant learning environment for our students.
Educationally,
Linda Mitchell, Principal
Cell Phones, Apple Watches, Smart Watches, and Recording Devices
Dear Woods Lake Families,
We hope this message finds you well. We would like to remind you that students are not permitted to bring cell phones, Apple watches, smart watches, or any recording devices to school.
To ensure a focused learning environment, students must turn in any such devices to their teacher at the beginning of the school day. These items will be returned at the end of the day. We encourage you to consider not sending these devices to school at all.
Please note that the school cannot be held liable for any lost or damaged devices. Additionally, during the M-STEP testing window, which begins next week, these items must not be present in the classroom.
Thank you for your understanding and support in maintaining a productive school environment.
Sincerely,
Linda Mitchell, Principal
