MCAS Accomplishment: While MCAS results are just one element of student learning, it feels good to have achieved a metric that only 12 other districts/charter schools can claim! Speaking of MCAS, individual student results will be published to the Aspen family portal on October 17th.

PSO Fun Run: Deer Hill is excited for our upcoming Fun Run! Students are encouraged to wear blue or their favorite Cohasset swag. See the important dates below for the times when each grade level is running.

October Is National Bullying Prevention Month: Deer Hill is committed to a safe, respectful, and responsible community every day, and October gives us a chance to set an important tone for the whole year. As a show of that commitment, we'll again participate in Unity Day on October 22nd. This is a day when we can come together to send a visible message of building commUNITY through kindness, acceptance, and inclusion. We encourage everyone to wear orange on this day!

Fall Writing from Mrs. Massari's 3rd Grade:

Holly Hill Lessons: We're so lucky to have Holly Hill Farm in our own backyard! Each class will have three lessons in our garden over the course of the year led by talented Holly Hill instructors. Last week 3rd grade planted potatoes and this week 4th grade planted fall greens. Next week 5th grade has their turn!
