This and That at Red Mill

February was a LOVEly month at Red Mill! We kicked off the month with our PTO Apex Fundraiser, which was a huge success!! Thank you to everyone who participated through donations and shares. Our students will benefit greatly from your generosity! Our 4th graders took home the gold in our district-wide Academic Bowl. Congratulations to our 4th grade team! We also had our Mini-Thon Spirit Week to help spread awareness for all that the Four Diamonds does to help families in need.

In March, we hope to be LUCKY enough to have another great month at Red Mill! Please take a moment to read all that we have in store below...

Mini-Thon Merchandise Sale

We are selling Mini-Thon Merchandise the week of March 3-7 (while supplies last). Students can purchase items upon arrival (8:35am-9:00am) between Mrs. Shughart's office and Mrs. Scanlon's classroom. All proceeds will go to the Four Diamonds Fund. Cash is preferred; please see prices below!

STEAM Night - Volunteers Needed!

Have a talent, career, or business to share at this year's STEAM Night? We are looking for anything from vocational, culinary, medical, technology, and other science fields to art, music, and dance to be represented on the evening of March 27th from 6:00-8:00. If you or someone you know may be interested in having a space for families to visit on STEAM Night, please reach out to Renee Healy at rhealy@wssd.k12.pa.us. Thank you!

PSSA Update

Beginning on April 23, students in grades 3-4 will be taking the PSSA. Testing dates and session information can be found below. Please note: testing will begin promptly at the start of each school day. We ask that families try to avoid morning appointments and we also ask that all students who are testing arrive on time. We are not able to grant access into the testing session for students once the session has started. Thank you for your help and cooperation with this.

4/23 - 4/25: English Language Arts-- for students in grades 3-4

4/29 - 4/30: Math-- for students in grades 3-4
