Good Morning,
Thank you for your patience this week with the ROCK Pride Press. I spent yesterday moving my mom into an assisted living/memory care facility. It was a long and emotional day, but also a powerful reminder of how important it is to unplug from the chaos of daily life and make time for meaningful moments with loved ones.
This past week at Sells, the hallways were buzzing with new bulletin boards, spirit theme days, robotic cars, paper airplanes, woodworking projects, and so much more. The hands-on learning has been a joy to watch as students collaborate, problem-solve, and bring their creativity to life. A special shout-out to our choir students and Mrs. Andujar for a wonderful concert!
Looking ahead, we have a full schedule of athletic events as well as our orchestra concert. We hope you’ll join us in supporting and celebrating the hard work of our students.
With ROCK Pride,
Katy O'Neal

The Ultimate Present: Give the Gift of Global Travel!
Struggling to find an unforgettable gift for the student in your life? Skip the gadgets and clothes this year and give them the world! The DCS Global Travel Program offers an incredible opportunity: the gift of global experience, cultural immersion, and lifelong memories. Imagine the look on their face when they unwrap a certificate for a journey to Italy, Ecuador, South Africa, or Japan. These teacher-led trips are not just for fun, but as powerful extensions of the classroom. Students explore historical sites, practice languages, and personally witness concepts they've read about. Learn more about the program and trips being offered in 2026 and 2027 here.

In May 2026, our students have the exciting opportunity to perform in Mashiko, Japan (a friendship city of Dublin, Ohio located in Tochigi Prefecture, north of Tokyo) with Mr. Eitetsu Hayashi and a local taiko group. This indelible trip will also include a cultural exchange experience with local Japanese students and tours of some of Japan’s most iconic cities -Kyoto, Osaka, and Tokyo. Please consider supporting Dublin Taiko by participating in our fundraising effort at Chipotle on December 10th! Thank you!
