As ACAP testing begins, we ask for your partnership in helping students be prepared and confident. Testing starts each day at 8:30 AM, so please ensure your child arrives on time. If devices are sent home, make sure they are fully charged. A good night’s sleep and healthy breakfast are also important for focus and success.
Each session lasts no more than one hour (typically 45–50 minutes), keeping the experience manageable for students. Thank you for your support in helping our students do their best!

For 5th Grade Parents
Can you believe it is course registration time for middle school?
One of our goals is for every Farley 5th grader to take at least one Honors course in 6th grade — because we know they’re more than ready for the challenge!
And for those future rock stars in the making, Mr. Owens has invited the Challenger band director to campus to help interested students choose their instruments.

"A" Honor Roll Again!
Greetings families!
We are pleased to announce that our school received an "A" on our Report Card Score. This is the 3rd year in a row that Farley has received an A - this year a 90. Our Report Card score is based on our ACAP results (Grades 3-5) and our percentage of students that maintain excellent attendance.
Attendance
Parents may excuse only 8 days for the entire school year.
Parents - remember that excuse notes must be submitted promptly. The HCS expectation is that within 3 days, a parent or doctor's note is submitted to the school. After 8 excused absences (not individual notes), students must have a doctor's note. A student checked out before 11:30AM is considered absent unless they check back in.

Chronic Absenteeism is defined as a student missing 18 or more days for the school year (or 10% of enrolled days), regardless of reason.

At Farley Elementary, our mission is to create a nurturing and inclusive environment where every student is empowered to SOAR. We are committed to showing respect, staying organized, and taking responsibility in all we do, while ensuring equitable opportunities that prepare students for success in school and in life. Together with our families and community, we strive to inspire a lifelong love of learning and a commitment to excellence.
We believe:
Students are our first priority. They have the ability to learn at high levels and are respected as unique individuals.
Teachers are caring leaders who serve as role models to facilitate high quality instruction; encouraging all individual needs and learning styles within a framework of high expectations in a positive environment.
Parents are active partners in the educational process at school and home by maintaining open communication, participating in school activities, and ensuring students are prepared to learn.
The Support Staff will collaborate with other stakeholders, serve as role models, and promote a caring environment encouraging students to achieve their full potential.
The Community should have the expectation that the school is producing responsible and productive citizens for its viability. The community assists in this endeavor by providing financial support, volunteering, serving as role models, and providing input in the educational process of the students we serve.
