IMPORTANT: Do not update the existing app!
You must delete it & download the new ParentVUE or StudentVUE apps...

This change only affects the ParentVUE and StudentVUE mobile apps. The ParentVUE and StudentVUE web portals are not changing and will continue to work as they always have. Parents and students may continue to access their accounts through a web browser using their existing usernames and passwords.

The only action required is to update the mobile app if you use it on a phone or tablet.

• Delete the old ParentVUE and StudentVUE apps
• Download the new apps (also labeled "New" in the app store)
• StudentVUE: Apple / Android
• ParentVUE: Apple / Android
• Sign in using your current username and password
• View schedules and teacher assignments beginning AUGUST 13, 2026, by 4:00 PM

If you already have an account, you will need to select Already Activated or No to advance to the login screen.

NOTE:

Your current ParentVUE / StudentVUE username and password will still work. If you need to create a new account, contact your child's school Monday–Thursday to request an activation code.

ParentVUE helps parents and legal guardians follow their student's academic progress throughout the school year. Those who have a ParentVUE account can do the following:

• Follow student grades and view report cards
• Update contact information so you can be reached in an emergency
• Receive notifications when your child is seen in the school health office
• Report planned student absences in advance
• Email your child's teacher
• ...and more!

All students have a StudentVUE account where they can view their class schedules and other student information. Students can sign in with their WCPS username and password on district-approved computers and devices.

While students will not be allowed to have their personal cell phones during the school day, they will still be able to access StudentVUE using approved school technology.

Parents and guardians should contact your child's school to request an activation code to create your account and associate your student(s) with your ParentVUE access.
