Our Book Fair is coming up during conferences - but we need your help to make it happen! If we don't get enough volunteers, we'll have to close the Book Fair

Sign up for a time slot and earn $5 Book Fair credit for each one you work!
Kids are welcome (and encouraged!) to volunteer alongside their adult - it's a great way for them to learn customer service and money-handling skills while having fun surrounded by books!

Let's keep the Book Fair open and full of book-loving smiles!

The Power of Partnership The Power of Partnership

At Franklin, we believe that strong parent-teacher collaboration is essential for our students' success. When parents and teachers work together, we create a powerful support system that enhances student learning and achievement. We encourage you to engage in open communication with your child’s teachers, participate in school events, and provide feedback on school programs. Your involvement not only helps us understand your child's unique needs but also fosters a sense of community and shared responsibility for their education. Together, we can help our students thrive academically and socially. Thank you for being an integral part of our school community!

Parent-teacher conferences are an invaluable opportunity for you to connect with your child’s teachers, discuss their progress, and collaborate on strategies to support their learning at school and at home. Attending these conferences allows you to gain insights into your child's academic strengths and areas for improvement. It also gives you a chance to share your observations and concerns, ensuring that we work together to provide the best possible education for your child.

Your involvement is crucial in helping us tailor our programming, including Title I programming, to meet the needs of our students. We look forward to seeing you at the conferences and continuing our partnership in your child’s education!

While this school year has been quite compacted in order to allow for a longer window for major construction projects at other sites, we do have a few days off in the coming weeks. Remember, you can always access the school calendar via the link below, as well.

Our Franklin fifth grade students will have an opportunity to visit PWMS later this spring. This visit during the regular school day gives students a chance to experience the building, meet staff, ask questions, and get a preview of what life as a middle school student will be like.

Students will tour the school, learn about schedules and classes, and visit with staff and current students. The goal is to help students feel comfortable and excited about the transition to middle school and eliminate some of the unknowns around this big event.

More details, including the specific date and time, will be shared by classroom teachers as the day gets closer.
