YOUR WEEKLY COMMUNICATION ABOUT ALL THINGS MURASKI

Muraski Tribune22-23: Issue 16YOUR WEEKLY COMMUNICATION ABOUT ALL THINGSMURASKI

A Message from the Principals

We have five days left before Winter Break. This week brings a lot of fun and exciting activities, but also a lot of learning. Please remind your children that although we are winding down before Winter Break, we are still looking for Model Mustang behavior. When we are communicating together, we can help students recognize and understand expectations for behavior and learning that supports the positive environment we are working to create at our school.

As the holiday season is upon us, we wish each and every family at Muraski a Happy Holiday Season!

Sincerely,

Mike Griffen and Sam Lawrence

Impact of Unpaid School Fees

As a reminder, all school fees that have not been paid are now considered past due. To check the balance and pay outstanding school fees, go to Pay Schools Central by clicking HERE. In addition to Pay Schools Central, school fees can be paid by cash/check to your student’s building secretary or with the Treasurer's Office. If you have questions related to this, please contact the building secretary or Dawn Evangelista (devangelista@scsmustangs.org) within the Treasurer's Department. As we are approaching a new school year, as well as the start of fall sports, per Board of Education policy, the consequences for outstanding prior year school fees will prohibit students from participating in any school extracurricular activities (i.e., athletics, student council, school clubs, etc.), field trips, and school sanctioned dances / events that require a purchased ticket. Holiday Shop

A huge thank you goes out to all of the volunteers who organized and worked the Holiday Shop last week for our students. They did a phenomenal job of creating an amazing environment for our children, giving them an opportunity to shop for their friends and family at school. A special goes out to Carmela Bryk & Tracy Baker who spent an entire year getting donations, working with businesses, and gathering incredible items for our students to purchase. This was the best holiday shop I've ever seen in my years in education. Thank you PTA for all you do for our children.
