When reporting an absence, please call our school’s attendance line at 920-662-7875 prior to the start of each school day. **PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS PHONE LINE IS ONLY CHECKED UNTIL 9:00AM. FOR ANY OTHER PICK UP OR ABSENCES AFTER 9:00AM, PLEASE CALL THE MAIN LINEVILLE LINE- 920-662-7871.
Unless an emergency exists, all absences that are for more than 1 full day and not related to illness or injury require the completion of a Pre-Excused Absence Form at least 48 hours prior to the absence. The link to the form is below. Please note that this form requires both the parent and teachers' signatures.
**When students are out of the building on a field trip you will notice in Infinite Campus that your student will be marked SRE (School Related Event) for the hours not in the building. This does not count against their attendance. It is recorded when students are traveling to a different location and not at Lineville.
PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES
THE LAST DAY TO SIGN UP FOR CONFERENCE ONLINE IS TOMORROW! If you are unable sign up by tomorrow, you will need to contact your student's teacher to set up a time.
VETERANS' DAY ASSEMBLY
We are looking forward to our annual Veterans' Day Assembly taking place on November 11th at 1:30 PM. This assembly has become a beloved tradition at Lineville and we hope that any and all veterans and their families will consider joining us on that day.
If you are planning to attend, please fill out this form. You may be aware that we have a process for allowing visitors into our building during school hours. By completing this form we will know if you are registered in our system. If you are not, we will reach out to you and ask that you visit our office some time before November 11th so as to avoid lines on the day of the assembly. Due to the time constraints of the student day, we cannot postpone the start of the assembly. Processing identification and ensuring that everyone is in our system will greatly reduce the amount of time it will take us to check people in on the day of the event.
**IF YOU ARE A HOWARD-SUAMICO EMPLOYEE, PLEASE JUST BRING IN YOUR ID BADGE- NO PRE-REGISTRATION NEEDED**
If you have any questions, please give us a call at (920) 662-7871.
Dear Parents and Guardians,
To meet the needs of our students, through collaboration with Unity Grief and Education Center, Lineville Intermediate School is pleased to offer our students the opportunity to participate in a school grief group.
School Counselors, Jessica Beauleau and Kyle Vanderheiden and a Unity Grief Counselor will be leading a six-week grief support group designed to provide students with the opportunity to explore their grief through activities and conversation while learning about grief and developing coping skills. Through participating in this group, we hope students gain insights into their own grief experience and make connections with peers who have also experienced a death, while in a supportive environment.
This group is open to any student who has experienced a death regardless of when the death occurred. The experience of grief is unique, and a grief group may not be suited for everyone. Please know that Unity Grief and Education Center is a community resource should you wish to learn more about their services.
The grief group will be held from 9:40 AM – 10:40 AM on the dates below:
- Wednesday, November 4, 2026
- Wednesday, November 11, 2026
- Wednesday, November 18, 2026
- Wednesday, December 2, 2026
- Wednesday, December 9, 2026
- Wednesday, December 16, 2026
We encourage you to discuss this opportunity with your student and complete the consent form by clicking the following link 2026-2027 School Grief Group Consent – Fill out form should you wish for your student to participate. Consent forms are due by Thursday, October 22nd.
Please call Mrs. Beauleau or Mr. Vanderheiden at (920) 662-7871 with any questions regarding this group or call Unity Grief and Education Center at (920) 339-6700 for further information on the grief support services offered to our community.

BAY PORT FOOTBALL GAME REMINDERS FOR K-6 FAMILIES
Bay Port High School loves welcoming younger students to attend and support Bay Port athletics! Student safety is the most important thing to us and we want to make sure that every attendee’s experience is positive. Recently, we have had a number of situations where elementary/intermediate students have been at the games without adult supervision.
Because of this, please remember:
Parents/guardians must be present with their children when entering through the gates.
Parents/guardians must supervise their children throughout the entire game.
Children should NOT be dropped off at the stadium or sent through the gates on their own.
Students in grades K-6 will not be allowed to enter the gates without supervision.
Children are not allowed to engage in running or horseplay in the grassy areas or other areas of the stadium.
This includes playing football, tag, or similar activities.
Lunch Reflection at Lineville
To provide a consistent, restorative, and structured intervention for behavior at Lineville, we utilize Lunch Reflection. The process of Lunch Reflection is designed to provide a structured and consistent approach to support behavior while working with the student, staff, and families to build an understanding of behavior choices. Staff may assign a lunch reflection to a student when a student demonstrates behavior that is unsafe, disruptive to the learning of others, or consistently interfering with the flow and success of the student’s daily academic progress.
Students will bring their lunch to a designated location supervised by Mrs. Destache or other student services staff. During this time students will eat, complete a personal reflection, read or work on school work, and will discuss ways to make things better moving forward. Students will be in Lunch Reflection for both lunch and recess.
Families, you will be notified via email from our staff that your student served a lunch reflection and for what reason. If you would like more information about your child’s individual reflection, feel free to email Leigh Destache, leigdest@hssdschools.org or call 920-662-7823 .
We appreciate your partnership in this new process and look forward to working with students, families, and our staff to make this a very successful and fun school year for everyone.
DRESS CODE AND PHONE POLICIES
Dress Code Reminder
As a reminder, please ensure that your child is dressed in clothing appropriate for a school setting. Clothing should be comfortable yet modest, suitable for various activities throughout the day.
Cell Phone Policy
All student cellphones and personal devices (including home iPads) must be stored in lockers and turned off during the school day (7:30am–2:40pm). If you need to get in touch with your child during the school day, you may call the school office or send your child an email. Students will have the opportunity to check messages as appropriate. This ensures that important communication can still happen without disrupting the learning environment. Our complete cell phone policy is linked here.
What is the Patriot's Pen Program?
Conducted nationwide, this VFW-sponsored youth essay competition gives students an opportunity to write essays expressing their views on an annual patriotic theme. For more information, please click on the link below! The deadline to enter is Oct. 31, 2026!
E-BIKE AND E-SCOOTER SAFETY REMINDERS
E-bikes and e-scooters have become increasingly popular. To ensure the safety of our students, especially during drop-off and pick-up times on school property, we encourage students to walk their e-bikes and e-scooters.
As the district prioritizes safety of our students, we have developed a policy to maintain safe campuses. Of note, Administrative Policy 5514 states:
"The operator of a personal transportation device must observe all safety laws and rules, display courtesy and consideration toward others, and must abide by this policy as well as all laws and ordinances regarding the operation of the relevant device."
"Operating or bringing a personal transportation device on District property is a privilege and not a right. An administrator may temporarily or permanently revoke such privilege to the extent that a personal transportation device is operated in a negligent, reckless, or other manner that creates a risk of harm to the operator or others, or in a fashion that otherwise fails to comply with safety rules, laws, or ordinances."
"Upon the request of an administrator, the operator of an electronic powered transportation device will dismount the device and walk the device to the appropriate storage area."

“Anything that’s human is mentionable, and anything that is mentionable can be more manageable. When we can talk about our feelings, they become less overwhelming, less upsetting, and less scary. The people we trust with that important talk can help us know that we are not alone.”
