Happy New Year! A Message from the Director
As we begin a new year, I am truly grateful to be back together as a school community. January is a time of fresh starts, renewed energy, and excitement for all that lies ahead. Our students are diving into new learning experiences, exploring new ideas, and growing in ways that continue to inspire us every day.
This month, we are especially looking forward to the first in our series of cultural dance presentations. These experiences will give our students the opportunity to learn, appreciate, and celebrate the many cultures that make up our school community. In recognition of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, we will also take time to reflect on the special gifts we each bring, the pride we take in our individuality and cultures, and the importance of kindness, respect, and working together.
January also marks the end of our first semester. We are proud of the hard work our students have shown and look forward to sharing their progress through report cards in the coming weeks. Thank you for your continued partnership and support. It is a joy to begin this new year learning, growing, and celebrating together.
Warmly,
Ms. Tintle

Curriculum Updates
As we continue working thoughtfully on curriculum and instruction, we are also approaching the end of our first semester on January 27th. Report cards will be shared with families in the beginning of February. Teachers will share more detailed information and timelines as the dates get closer.
Sharing Culture Through Dance
We know that one of the things that makes PHA so special is the rich cultural diversity of our families. This year at the EC Campus, we are excited to celebrate that diversity by highlighting a different culture each month through dance. On January 23rd, we will kick off our first Cultural Dance Session with a visit from Karm-Syndia Dance Studio. They will work with our students to introduce them to Haitian culture and folklore through dance. We are thrilled to begin this new cultural tradition with our students and invite different dance groups each month.
