"Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new." Albert Einstein

Thank you so much to our KPBSD Leadership Superintendent Clayton Holland, Assistant Superintendent Kari Dendurent, School Board member Beverley Romanin, and Representative Justin Ruffridge for visiting with our students, and staff at Tebughna last week. We appreciate the conversations, reading books to our students, and engaging in our school day. Thank you for your support in making our students successful!

Our students were so exicited to have participated in potato harvesting last week as we're always looking forward to picking! Likewise, we were especially happy to have gathered for the Tebughna Potlatch, too! Thank you to the staff at TTCD, who always raise our students up in their conservation awareness, and education of being stewards to the land.

Kudos, and applause goes to Tebughna Foundation, and the Native Village of Tyonek for organizing the Tebughna Potlactch of Unity! The energy of the event, foods, contributions from the youth, and the overall beauty of the drumming and dancing made the community come together with such positivity and light! We're so grateful for the experience, and hope for more to come in the future:-)

The Safe School Helpline is provided to allow students, parents and community members the ability to confidentially submit report threats of violence, suicide, bullying or illegal activity that impact KPBSD schools, students, or staff. This service provides users the opportunity to leave a message or speak with a live crisis counselor for immediate needs. The helpline is administered by an independent, outside company. All communications remain private, confidential, and anonymous.

Four Ways to Report to the Safe School Helpline:

Call: 1-800-418-6423 or 1-800-4-1-VOICE (Ext. 359)

Text: TIPS to 614-426-0240
