This week the Town of Sunnyvale began a new partnership with the City of Mesquite for 911 Communications and jail services after an agreement with the City of Seagoville for similar services ended in October. This partnership will provide more reliable 911 service and reduce jail transport time for Sunnyvale Police, allowing more time for officers to be on patrol in Sunnyvale. The Town of Sunnyvale is grateful to Dallas County and the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office for their support during the transition.
