Conferences are right around the corner, and they are such a valuable opportunity to connect, celebrate growth, and partner together in supporting your child’s learning. Middle school is an exciting (and sometimes unpredictable!) season of growth—socially, emotionally, and academically—so conferences give us the chance to step back and look at the big picture. As you prepare, consider talking with your child ahead of time about what they’re most proud of so far this year and where they feel they could use a little more support. Encourage them to think about questions they’d like us to explore together. Conferences are truly a team effort, and we’re excited to celebrate progress and plan for continued success together!

Proud to be a RedHawk,

Francesca Favero, Principal

Saturday School Tomorrow Morning!

Parents received an email reminder about Saturday School that takes place tomorrow - Saturday, October 4, 2025 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. If students have more than 5 missing assignments, they are expected to attend. They should report to the athletic entrance by the gyms. Fragrance-Free Reminder for the Health and Safety of All

At Wredling, the health and well-being of our students and staff are top priorities. We want to remind everyone that many individuals in our school community suffer from allergies and asthma. For these individuals, strong scents such as perfume, cologne, and scented body sprays can be serious triggers, potentially leading to asthma attacks or allergic reactions.

To help maintain a safe and healthy environment for all, we are asking students to refrain from wearing perfume or cologne at school. When students practice good hygiene—such as showering regularly and using deodorant—there is no need for added fragrances during the school day.

We encourage you to have a conversation with your RedHawk(s) about this policy and the importance of being considerate of others’ health needs. It may also be a good time to discuss the concept of "less is more" especially when it comes to fragrances.

Thank you for your understanding and support as we work together to keep Wredling a safe and welcoming place for everyone!

Help Us Collect ONE MILLION Pop Tabs!

We’re on a mission to collect one million pop tabs for Ronald McDonald House Charities, and we can’t do it without YOU (and your grandparents, cousins, neighbors, and carpool crew)!

Those tiny aluminum tabs from soda cans, soup lids, or sparkling water may seem small—but when we collect them together, they add up to real support for families with seriously ill children.

Here’s how to pitch in:

  • Save your pop tabs at home—and ask your grandparents, cousins, friends, and neighbors to do the same!

  • Bring them to school all year long.

  • Every tab brings us closer to our 1,000,000-tab goal!

Let's pull together and make a difference!

Race Under the Lights!

This year SCE Cross Country will be hosting a Race Under the Lights for all students who feed into East HS. If your student is interested, please fill out this google form.
