Supporting Academic Success, Positive Choices, and Student Well-Being
Academic Success: Keep Your Grades on Track!
We are continuing to monitor student grades and academic progress following our first grading period.
Students should maintain a 2.0 GPA or higher to remain eligible for extracurricular activities, athletics, and school events.
Check Aeries regularly for missing assignments and current grades.
Reach out to teachers for support before falling further behind.
Set one academic goal this week and take action to achieve it!
Counselor Tip: Small improvements every day lead to big results. Completing missing assignments and asking for help can make a difference!
Before-School Intervention Is Underway!
Our Before-School Intervention Program began October 14 and continues every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
8:00–8:50 AM | Woodcrest Library
Students receive support through three learning stations:
Reading skills using IXL
Math skills using IXL
Homework completion and vocabulary development
Students must have a signed parent permission slip to attend. See Ms. Torres, Academic Counselor, for more information.
Social-Emotional Learning: Choose Kindness and Respect
This week's focus is Building Positive Relationships.
Healthy friendships help us feel connected, respected, and supported at school.
Encourage students to practice these three habits:
Include others: Invite someone new to join your group or activity.
Communicate respectfully: Think before you speak, especially when disagreements happen.
Make responsible choices: Walk away from conflicts and seek help from a trusted adult when needed.
Reflection Question: What is one thing you can do this week to help someone feel included at Woodcrest?
Attendance and Positive Behavior Reminders
Our schoolwide attendance goal is 97.5%. Every day of learning matters!
Remember our four PBIS expectations:
Respectful
Treat others with kindness
Responsible
Be prepared and on time
Safe
Make safe choices
Connected
Include and support others
Counselor's Message
Every Wolverine has the ability to grow, improve, and make a positive impact. Whether you are working to raise your grades, build stronger friendships, or improve your attendance, remember that progress starts with one positive choice at a time.

Student ID's
Students were provided with a badge holder and lanyard for their student ID. If a student loses their ID, a replacement ID may be purchased for $5.00.
Students are welcome to use their own lanyard and badge holder if they prefer. If the school-provided lanyard or badge holder is lost or damaged, families will need to provide a replacement.
Please help your student keep their ID secure and bring it to school each day.
If ID's are forgotten a loaner ID will be provided in the office, if it becomes a pattern parent will be contacted and progressive discipline will be followed.
