Spartan News June 2026
Message from Principal Haroldson
Dear SHS Families,
As we officially close the chapter on the 2025–2026 school year, I find myself looking back on the last few months with gratitude and pride. We have learned, grown, and achieved so much together as a community.
Congratulations to the class of 2026! Watching you cross the stage was the absolute highlight of this year. You have shown incredible resilience, dedication, and passion during your time with us. Whether you are heading off to college, entering the workforce, or embarking on a gap year adventure, please know that you carry a piece of our school’s legacy with you. We are immensely proud of the individuals you have become, and we cannot wait to see how you change the world.
While we are saying a bittersweet goodbye to our seniors, I am already filled with excitement for what lies ahead. I am truly looking forward to continuing to work with our returning students next year. We have new goals to chase, more milestones to reach, and endless opportunities to learn from one another. Enjoy this well-deserved break, but come back ready to dive into another fantastic year.
None of our success this year would have been possible without the unwavering support of our incredible teachers, staff, and families. Thank you for your partnership and endless engagement with our students.
I wish everyone a safe, relaxing, and joyful summer filled with sunshine and rest.
Sincerely,
Ryan Haroldson
Principal, Superior High School

Battle of Bong Center Big Donation
Seniors, Dallas and Amber delivered the final proceeds from their senior project fundraising efforts. Through their hard work and dedication, they raised an incredible $12,803, which they generously donated to the Bong Center.
Not only did they surpass last year's Battle of the Bong fundraising total, but there is also speculation that their effort may represent the largest student-led fundraiser in their school's history! Amazing work, Spartans!
