• Chromebooks & Hotspots : Checked out for the entire school year. Hotspots that run out of data can be exchanged if a new one is available.
• Books: Limit 3 books. Books are checked out for 3 weeks. Overdue books will be marked as lost after 90 days.
• Ebooks & Audiobooks: Checked out from Follett Destiny, MackinVia, and Sora.

Please wear a collared shirt or nice blouse. No t-shirts or spaghetti straps.

Collared shirts require a tie. Yes, bowties are okay! I have ties available if you do not have one.

HISD Student Dress Code must be followed.

We will have a quick meeting on Tuesday August 20th. New members are welcome to attend. I have a few copies of next month's book Little Women if you would like to join. We will discuss elections for President and Treasurer of Book Club and get ideas for how to choose our books this year.

TexQuest provides access to authoritative digital resouces for students. Go to the TexQuest Navigator. Check the Library Canvas Course for passwords.

Students can access Office 365 for free. This includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and now Microsoft Teams, plus additional classroom tools.

Sign in with your username: Student ID @harlandale.net

Password is the same one you use for your Chromebook/Google Accounts.

Teachers: Use your @harlandale.net account to access Office 365. (Same as your @myhisd.net, just replace with @harlandale.net) Use the same password that you use to log into your computer.

1. Install the Sora app from the Apple App Store of Google Play Story, or click on the above Sora picture.
2. In Sora, find our school district (Harlandale ISD)
3. Sign in: Username = Student ID# Password = First 4 of Last name (all caps Last 4 of SSN followed by ! (eg. ABCD1234!) For teachers it will be the same as your SSO login.
4. Browse the Explore tab and borrow a book. Your book will open so you can start reading right away.

To connect to the San Antonio Public Library (SAPL)

1. Open the menu (three lines on top right).
2. Tap the plus sign to add another library.
3. Find the San Antonio Public Library and click add.
4. When you are ready to check out a book from SAPL it will ask you to sign in.
5. Choose Harlandale ISD (NOT SAPL) to sign in and use the same information as above.
