Mandatory Senior/Counselor Meeting

Seniors- you MUST make an appointment to meet with Mrs. Harrell before April 4th. You will go over college plans, graduation plans, returning for a fifth year, and/or workforce opportunities. You can reach her at 828-766-2589 or email christineharrell@meclive.net to set an appointment.

Announcements:

ACT and PreACT on March 25

All Juniors will take the ACT and Sophomores will take the PreACT on March 25. Be at school and ready to start testing by 8:45am. The test sessions will take the majority of the school day.

CPR for 9th Graders

On March 25th, while all others are testing, all Freshmen will participate in a CPR class for half the school day and the other half will be spent in study hall working on homework assignments. This will lead to a certification in CPR.

3-on-3 Basketball Tourney

Submit the names of your team players to sign up for the 3-on-3 MECHS Basketball Tournament on March 27th. The teams can be coed. Games will be played during lunch. If the weather is bad, games will be held on March 28th.

Pi (Pie) Day March 28

Since we weren't able to celebrate Pi day on the actual day, 3/14, we will hold an honorable Pi Day this Friday, March 28. Students bring in your round desserts- pies, cookies, cakes, etc. We will enjoy celebrating together!
