Grand Prairie
June 1, 2026
It’s hard to believe the 2025–2026 school year has come to an end — it feels like our Disney adventure just began! This year was filled with learning, laughter, growth, and magical memories, and we are so proud of all our students accomplished along the way.
Report cards are complete, desks and cubbies are empty, and the teachers and staff waved goodbye to the buses one final time. All student items, including report cards and FastBridge scores, were sent home today. If your child was absent on the last day, you are welcome to stop by Grand Prairie during summer hours to pick up their belongings.
Summer at Grand Prairie will be busy and exciting! Our main office and hallway carpets are getting a makeover, with construction beginning immediately and continuing through much of the summer. Please excuse our shifting locations throughout the building if you visit GP or the district office this summer.
Found a stray library book hiding under a bed or tucked in a backpack? No worries! Library books can be returned to Grand Prairie Monday–Thursday from 8:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. A return bin will be available through June 30th. After that, invoices for missing books will be sent through MySchoolBucks.
We hope your summer is filled with sunshine, laughter, adventure, and plenty of late nights! We can’t wait to welcome our learners back in August as we begin building an awesome new year together!
Thank you for a wonderful year of partnership, positivity, and Tiger pride. Have a safe, relaxing, and fun-filled summer!
“Summer vacation: where bedtime is negotiable and snacks are unlimited!”
If you have any personal items or school materials that need to be picked up, please plan to do so over the summer during the following hours:
Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Thank you and have a great summer!
This is a friendly reminder to please return any library books to Grand Prairie by June 30 to avoid fines.
Books returned on or before June 30 will not be charged any fees.
After July 1, any outstanding books will show as a replacement fine in My School Bucks until the item is returned.
Thank you for your help in getting all library materials back!
