We’re Proud to Be Drug-Free!
This week, our students celebrated the importance of living a drug-free lifestyle through fun and engaging activities! We were honored to welcome McGruff the Crime Dog, who reminded our Mustangs that making healthy choices keeps our minds and bodies strong.
Students participated in classroom discussions, created “Drug-Free Pledges,” and learned how to say no to drugs and yes to their dreams. Thank you to our teachers, counselors, and community partners for helping our students understand how to stay safe, confident, and drug-free—today and every day!
Together, we’re taking a bite out of crime and saying, “Be Drug-Free!”
Esta semana, nuestros estudiantes celebraron la importancia de vivir un estilo de vida libre de drogas a través de actividades divertidas y educativas. ¡Tuvimos el honor de recibir a McGruff el Perro Policía, quien recordó a nuestros Mustangs que tomar decisiones saludables mantiene nuestras mentes y cuerpos fuertes!
Los estudiantes participaron en conversaciones en clase, crearon sus “Promesas para Vivir Libres de Drogas”, y aprendieron a decir no a las drogas y sí a sus sueños. Agradecemos a nuestros maestros, consejeros y socios comunitarios por ayudar a nuestros estudiantes a mantenerse seguros, confiados y libres de drogas—¡hoy y todos los días!

At Roy Cisneros Leadership School for Boys, our teachers are working hard every day to ensure every Mustang reaches their full potential. Through focused instruction, small-group support, and engaging lessons, our educators are helping students build confidence, close learning gaps, and achieve academic growth.
Our teachers collaborate in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) each week to review student progress, plan high-quality lessons, and share best practices. These efforts ensure that all students receive the individualized support they need to succeed—academically, socially, and emotionally.

En la Escuela de Liderazgo Roy Cisneros para Niños, nuestros maestros trabajan arduamente cada día para asegurar que cada Mustang alcance su máximo potencial. A través de instrucción enfocada, apoyo en grupos pequeños y lecciones atractivas, nuestros educadores ayudan a los estudiantes a desarrollar confianza, cerrar brechas de aprendizaje y lograr crecimiento académico.
