MESSAGE FROM PRINCIPAL BANKS MESSAGE FROM PRINCIPAL BANKS

Greetings Lindblom MSA Eagles,

This week is Spirit Week as we build toward our AC and HS Homecoming dances! Shout out to our Senior Executive Board for planning this year’s themes. Spirit Week is always a fun way to strengthen school culture and pride while celebrating the creativity, identity, humor, and perspectives that make Lindblom special. We hope everyone participates and shows their style and Lindblom pride. I’m especially looking forward to “2000s Throwback Day,” when our students will reach back into an era they experienced vicariously through parents, older siblings, and media.

Thank you to everyone who attended our college fair on Friday. Early access to information about postsecondary options is essential for our students and families. The more we know about what is possible, the better prepared we are to make informed decisions about what comes next.

Finally, our Fall Band and Choir Concert is this Thursday. We hope to see you there supporting our talented students! Parents interested in volunteering at Homecoming or the concert can complete the Level II volunteer process. We welcome your help with decorating, chaperoning, and supporting these events.

Together, we strive for excellence,

Principal Banks

National Attendance Month

Attendance tip for the week: Many high schoolers start working and/or helping with family responsibilities, which can lead to fatigue or chronic tardiness. Parents, help your teens map out a realistic weekly schedule that caps work shifts on school nights.

Engage in a discussion with our attendance staff, Mr. Catlett mecatlett@cps.edu, or Ms. Williams, sdwilliams1@cps.edu if you have questions about your student's attendance.

AC Homecoming Chaperones

The AC Homecoming is right around the corner, and we need your help to make it an unforgettable event for our students! There are two easy ways you can pitch in:

Donate Refreshments: We are accepting donations of bottled water and individual chip bags. Food donations can be delivered to the main office.

Volunteer Your Time: We’re looking for parent volunteers to assist with decorating, student check-in, area supervision, serving food, and handing out favors.

If you are able to volunteer, please fill out the Homecoming Volunteer Form.

Thank you for your continued support in making this celebration a huge success!
