MLK Sock Roll
Log College MLK Day Service Project- Sock Rolls for Local Homeless Shelters
Log College is proud to participate in our annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day Service Project by collecting donations to assemble sock rolls for local homeless shelters. We’re accepting:
packaged men’s crew socks
packaged crackers
granola bars
Donation window: now through January 29th. Drop off items in rooms 38 and 39. Everyone who donates will be entered in a drawing to win a $25 Amazon gift card.
Thank you for helping us honor Dr. King’s legacy through service and compassion.
PBIS Drawing
Each month, every student that receives a Principal’s 200 Club ticket is automatically entered for a random drawing that’s held at the end of the month. December was a great month here at Log College, and there was a large number of students who received tickets. Our lucky winner for December was 8th grader Ivy K. Congratulations to Ivy and keep up the good work everyone!
Students of the Month
Every month, teachers on each team highlight students by selecting them as 'Students of the Month.' The students who are selected set the bar high and exemplify the traits of scholarship, cooperation, kindness, and hard work among others. Congratulations to Hannah D., Nathaniel M., Cody S., Arina O., Vincent P., Laila C., Penelope S., Justin P., HunterRaye G., Philip Z., Abigail W., and Adam B. Great work by all of you!

WIDA Testing
Hello LCMS Families:
Beginning on January 5, 2026, the Centennial School District will begin the annual WIDA ACCESS (Assessing Comprehension and Communication in English State-to-State) testing window for our English Learners (ELs). The WIDA ACCESS is a PDE mandated and federally reported assessment of English Language Proficiency (ELP). The families of our English learners will receive an email communication regarding the assessment from our Supervisor of Student Services, Althea Tomlinson.
Our school testing dates are: 1/26/26-2/13/26
The WIDA ACCESS assessment is an important tool that guides the individualized instruction of our English learners. If you have any questions about the assessment, you can reach out directly to your child’s English Language Development (ELD) teacher.
If your child is an English Learner, here are some things you can do to help your child prepare for the WIDA ACCESS:
Be sure your child/children are receiving an adequate amount of sleep during the testing dates
Be sure your child/children eat breakfast each morning before testing
Be sure your child/children bring their school issued electronic device fully charged to school every day
Encourage your child do their very best on the assessment
The GIANT Company, Round Up For Hunger
Centennial School District is proud to participate in the GIANT Feeding School Kids campaign!
From January 1 through March 31, shoppers can round up their purchase at the register at the
GIANT stores in Warminster and Southampton to support Centennial School District’s efforts to
combat childhood hunger.
Join us in making a difference—together, we can help ensure every child has access to the
nutrition they need to succeed.
