Q4 - Week 5 Progress Reports, Math in-person support, Beta Club
Principal Batten's Weekly Message
I hope that you enjoyed this beautiful, cooler weekend. This week we celebrate our teachers for Teacher Appreciation week! We welcome Dr. Barbara Lincoln, who recently joined V3A as an EC teacher and IEP case manager - replacing Dr. Jennings. Unfortunately, we had to say goodbye to our ELA intervention teacher, Shanice White, who was transferred to VCHS. Help us celebrate all of V3A teachers as part of teacher appreciation week.
We have a busy week ahead with several in-person events On Wednesday, we have in-person HS Math 1 & 3 in-person classes, and a CPR class for June Graduates needing this required certification. On Thursday, we have Gr6-8 invited math support and Beta Club induction for our newest members. Students needing bus transportation for Wednesday's HS Math 1 & 3 in-person classes or CPR for graduates, should sign up by Monday: https://v3a.online/bus
Teachers also will be sharing Q4 progress reports with students and families. Reminder that Q3 report cards can be picked up at V3A from 9am - 4pm.
We have one more week of normal Zoom schedule before we start EOG/EOC testing for select groups of students. It is crucial that students buckle down ("lock in") and end the 2025-26 year strong.
Virtual learning is extremely challenging and students MUST check their email daily, attend all scheduled Zoom classes and interventions, and complete assignments daily in order to be successful at V3A.
