At WMES we don't just set goals, we CRUSH them. We are so proud of our students and all of the growth they have made this year. They are each champions of their own learning. Take a look at this video celebrating all the accomplishments from this year.

About the Mural:

The mural you see overhead, titled "Appreciation, From the Ground Up”, was created by Watertown-Mayer Elementary students during art class with Ms. DeMars through a special art residency with artist Heidi Jeub March 18–21, 2025. This incredible experience was made possible thanks to funds raised by the school community through our annual Strides for Students event and the support of our amazing PTO.

Every student played a role in bringing this artwork to life. Each child contributed to individual canvases which, when joined together, form this beautiful landscape image. It stands as a powerful reminder that when we all work together, small actions can add up to something truly extraordinary.

Location: WMES Elementary School parking lot, Rain or shine

Time: 1 hour per grade, during the school day

• Grade 4 at 8:20am - 9:20am
• Grade 3 at 9:30am - 10:25am (exit at 10:25)
• Grade 2 at 10:30am - 11:25am (exit at 11:25)
• Kindergarteners at 12:20pm - 1:15pm (exit at 1:15)
• First grade at 1:20pm - 2:20pm (line up at 2:20 to exit)

Spectators: You do not have to check in with the office, you can go right to the area in the parking lot. Spectators are Welcome to watch the event. Only WMES Kindergarten through Grade 4 students are allowed on the Ninja Anywhere equipment with a completed waiver form. Younger or older siblings must stay off the equipment due to liability reasons, Thank You!

Ninja Rig Rules:

1. Start from the back of the rig

2. Always have a mat under you

3. Always land on your feet

4. Rock wall: climb up, down(NO jumping off)

Inflatable Rules:

1. Two people at a time
2. Feet first at all times
3. Keep moving ahead, no stopping
4. Exit and walk around, one way

Warped Wall Rules:

• ONE person at a time, Face the wall at all times(NO jumping off)
