Children and staff from school attended a service on Friday morning and then laid a wreath at the memorial in the church yard. On return to school everyone undertook activities to improve understanding of WW1 and the significance of Remembrance Day. We would like to thank our pupils for showing respect and for taking their time to learn about the lessons we can learn from history. Thank you to everyone who has already donated to the school collection for the Royal British Legion.

We are going to set up a Closed Facebook Group to share key information with any interested parties. This group will be open to any parents/ carers or friends of school. We hope it will provide you with another means of accessing our key dates and information. Look out for details.

We will be looking at why we vote, how democracies work, how we have a voice in school and society and how we can play our role in shaping both our school family, but also our community and the world. Ask your children why we vote and how we value their opinion every day.
