Dear Families,

We did it! We reached our fundraising STRETCH goal of $25,000 with your support of the Fun Run. Students had a great time running even in the cloudy and rainy weather, having a picnic lunch in the lunchroom and enjoying a popsicle as a treat. THANK YOU to our T-shirt sponsors, it was great seeing all the students in their light blue shirts!! THANK YOU for raising funds for our PTO to use to support students and teachers in the coming year.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone on Thursday night for our Tailgate Event from 5:00-6:30. We will have bounce houses, yard games and prizes. You can preorder hotdog meals HERE. Kona Ice will also be available to purchase.

Thank you to Mr. Adamowicz, grandfather of Elaina who volunteered as our first Watch D.O.G.S. this week. He spent his time in classrooms, PE, music class, eating lunch with his student and recess. We appreciate him coming in and volunteering.

By state law, youth organizations chartered by Congress may request time in the school day to address students. One of these organizations is the Boy Scouts of America, and they have asked for time to tell students about scouting.

We will be accommodating their request during lunch on Wednesday, September 24th. The Boy Scouts will be giving a 3-5 minute presentation. We wanted to make sure all parents and guardians are aware of the visit. If you have questions, please email me at trcooper@mpsomaha.org

2025 Fall Parent Teacher Conference Donations Needed

On behalf of the PTO, we are asking for parents to donate paper products, desserts, snacks, pop and water for parent teacher conferences. The conferences will be held on Monday, October 6th and Tuesday, October 7th. Donations can be dropped off anytime to the school office and no later than 3:00 pm on Friday, October 3rd.
