SCAP Review
This week we had our S-CAP one-day continuous improvement review. This year's one-day review was a snapshot of where we are with our strategic priorities. We received positive feedback on many things, and reviewers also pointed out some areas that we are still developing or could use improvement. The reviewers used feedback from data and artifacts, focus group feedback, and last year's survey data. Some key takeaways were the caring and positive staff and student body. The reviewers shared that our school is organized, orderly, caring, and a place people enjoy being. The classes they viewed had engaged learners and teachers with established expectations.
A big thank you to all who put a great deal of work into making our review successful!
NJC College Fair
On November 20th, all juniors and seniors had the opportunity to attend the Career Expo at NJC. This event featured over 80 career fields, organized by industry, providing an excellent chance for students to explore a variety of professions. It was a valuable opportunity to connect with potential employers, gain insights, and network with industry professionals.
FAFSA & Enrollment Night
On Wednesday, senior and junior students and parents joined Mrs. Houton for an informative enrollment and financial aid session. Although the FAFSA is not yet available, they were able to walk through a prototype and FAFSA guide to help families prepare and ask any questions before it opens. They also discussed scholarships, completed enrollment, and concurrent enrollment forms for the Spring 2025 semester.
The freshman and sophomore class will meet on Thursday night to complete their enrollment for Spring 2025.

On Tuesday, November 19th we held our Chapter Speaking night. Rebecca Bethel presented her Prepared Public Speech, entitled “Temple Grandin’s Contributions to Agriculture”.
