The Mammoth Are Coming!

How cool is it that Utah has a NHL team? Even cooler, they are winning! This Monday and Tuesday the Mammoth Hockey Organization will take over PE at Providence Hall Elementary. Don't worry, hockey fights are not a part of the curriculum.

The Utah Mammoth offers "Tusk Force" PE takeovers, bringing street hockey clinics to Utah elementary schools to teach maneuvering, passing, and shooting. These interactive sessions, often featuring team members, teach basics in the gymnasium. The program also provides teachers with equipment kits and has partnered with school districts for specialized floor hockey training.

Students have been asking the question can I bring my own recess equipment from home? The answer is no. We ask that students leave all their footballs, soccer balls, wall balls, jump ropes, etc at home. But great news we have recess equipment for each grade level. Each grade level has their own recess cart that goes out at their recess time. However as you can imagine some items get lost over time. If you would like to purchase items to help refill our recess carts we would appreciate it. Thanks

Este programa estará abierto a estudiantes de 3º a 5º grado. El club se desarrollará del 23 de marzo al 30 de mayo, momento en el que terminaremos el club con una carrera de 5 km. Celebraremos Girls on the Run los lunes y miércoles de 3:15 a 4:30.

El programa incluye: -Botín: camisa, botella de agua, bolso, diario y material didáctico. -lecciones divertidas, actividades en equipo, debates y carreras, todo dirigido por la Sra.
