In researching about the staff jackets, I learned that our PTA does have a swag store. I think this is news to many. We are currently working with PTA to see if we can offer a 1 item discount for staff members. More info. to come. In the meantime, take a look and see if there is anything you like.

Detergent Drive

A huge thank you for making this round of detergent collections such a tremendous success! We collected over 70 bottles of detergent, which will directly support our HHH population. Our club is extremely grateful for your generosity. This is an ongoing need, so please feel free to send in detergent at any time.

Luck Sales

Start on Monday, March 2 and will support the Goshen Valley Foster Care Initiative. In the spirit of St. Patty’s Day, we will be selling green bags of candy. Each bag cost $2 (cash only), and all proceeds will benefit this wonderful organization. We have several families here at CMS who are involved in the program, making this cause especially meaningful to our community.

Upcoming PBIS District Walkthrough in MARCH: It's that time of year! The District will be sending a representative to complete a Walkthrough to see our consistent implementation of PBIS! While this is not a test, it is a fidelity check, and it does impact our school ratings a bit. Please click HERE to see what the district is looking for on their walkthrough!

If you looked at the Walkthrough Document linked above, you saw the section that said "If Classroom Systems Trained" - Yes, CMS is Classroom Systems Trained 🙂 Here is the PBIS Classroom Practice (Best Practices) that we have been working on recently through the Newsletter:

Relationships Best Practices Reminder: Consistent Routines (Be Prepared) Students feel safe when routines are clear and consistent from day to day. Predictability reduces anxiety and creates an environment where students can thrive academically and socially. If there is a change to a schedule or due date, let students know in advance if possible, and take a few seconds to explain why this change is occurring.

Maintaining accurate staff contact information in Crisis Go is essential to ensuring immediate and effective communication during critical incidents, including active emergencies, anonymous tip investigations, and social media threats. As outlined in the attached document, these steps help to create ability to have rapid communications, that directly supports life safety outcomes and district-wide coordination.

All staff are asked to review and update their contact information within the Crisis Go mobile application by selecting the “Organization” tab, opening “Profile,” verifying phone numbers (including after-hours contact if applicable), and submitting any necessary updates.

Proactively confirming this information strengthens emergency readiness, improves response efficiency, and ensures we can reach the right personnel without delay when it matters most.

If you do not have the Crisis Go app, please see the attached handout with installation instructions.

You can also update your contact information directly from a district laptop.
