Wiggin Street Parent Update

Better Together and Reaching for the Stars!
Dear Wiggin Street Families,
It has been a fun and festive week at Wiggin Street with all of our holiday activities! Our first and second graders have been “traveling the world” with their passports as they learn about holiday traditions in different countries. We also enjoyed our Holiday Shop, where students were able to purchase gifts for their friends and families. Thank you to Kristin Witham, and our PTO, Friends of Wiggin Street, for making this event happen each year. We truly appreciate you!
Next week, we look forward to our 3rd–5th Grade Winter Performance at Rosse Hall on Tuesday, Dec. 16. Information about the location and parking can be found below. We are grateful for all that Mrs. Springer does to prepare our students for this special program—you won’t want to miss it!
I have also included some upcoming opportunities for students in January. Lily Grace, a Wiggin Street alum, is completing her Global Scholars Project by hosting an after-school art club for 3rd–5th grade students. Participants will learn about and create art inspired by various cultures. Her flyer is included below, along with live links to sign up. Each session is limited to 15 students.
Additionally, we are excited to welcome Jim Basketball Jones for a whole-school PBIS reward assembly on January 16. Ms. Waugh worked with some of our 5th-grade girls to create a video to help build excitement—be sure to check it out!
We hope you have a wonderful weekend, and we look forward to more fun with the kids next week, our final week before winter break!
Warm regards,
Christy Grandstaff
