FAFSA Graduation Requirement
FAFSA Graduation Requirement
P. A. 101-180 requires all Illinois public high school students to complete either the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the Alternative Application for Illinois Financial Aid (Alternative Application) as a prerequisite to receiving a high school diploma. Additionally, high schools are expected to provide students and their families with any support or guidance necessary to comply with the requirement.
For students who choose not to file an application, a waiver may be completed by their parent. The Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) makes available through their website a FAFSA Nonparticipation Form (English and Spanish) for this purpose. Check out our FAFSA Update for more information.

All counselors will be available on Tuesday, July 29th to assist any student wishing to make a preferential change to the courses they requested in December and/or January. Counselor availability will be on a first come, first serve basis and will begin at 745 a.m. and end at 2 p.m. If you cannot make it on this day, please reach out to your counselor during the first 10 days of the semester to make preferential course changes.
2025 AP Score Sends & Score Release Details
Students are reminded to activate their free score send by the June 20 deadline.
Every year that you take an AP® Exam, you have the option to send one score report for free to the college, university, or scholarship organization of your choice. Score reports include both this year's and past AP Exam scores unless you choose to withhold or cancel a score.
AP Exam scores will be available starting Monday, July 7.
Check that you can sign in to your College Board account.
Make sure that you remember your login credentials by signing in before scores are released in July. This is the same account that you use to access My AP , Bluebook or other College Board resources.
Make sure we have your current email address.
If you’ve changed your email address, update it in your account.
Don’t create a new account if you already have one.
Duplicate accounts can cause delays in getting your AP scores. Sign in with the same account you used to register and enroll in AP class sections.

College & Career Planning
Upcoming College Rep Visits
College Visits @ St. Charles North
Throughout the year, many college, career, and military representatives will come to St. Charles North to provide you with more information about your post-secondary options.
All college visits will be in the LRC (Think Tanks A & B), unless otherwise noted. Students must obtain a pass from the Office of College and Career Readiness at least one day prior to attending, if attending during a class period. This pass should be signed by the teacher of the class for that period you are missing. While we encourage students to attend these meetings, please note that what is happening in the classroom is more important. Teachers may deny the request to miss class if they feel it is in the student’s best interest to be in attendance. Students are encouraged to visit with College reps during their lunch period when/if possible.
If you have a conflict with a college visit, please email Kathy.McCoy@d303.org for the college rep's contact information.
For the full listing go to the College Visit page on the CCR Website.
We had 126 different college visits this year! College visits will resume next year after Labor Day!
