Four Clio High School students wrote stories as part of a writing

competition, and their work was selected for publication by the

contest editors! The title of the contest is Unsolved: Unraveling the

Mystery. It is a creative writing contest that asks the students to

write crime-related stories with a limit of one hundred words.

Some students used story starter phrases that were provided as

part of the contest and some of them made entirely original

pieces. The students selected will have their stories published in

the Unsolved collection in the fall. Congratulations to Khloe,

Charmane, Jade and Xev on getting their stories published!

SENIOR ATHLETE SIGNING NIGHT

Last Tuesday, Clio Athletics was honored to celebrate the achievements of five incredible student-athletes that have committed to playing at the collegiate level.

We wish Lainey, Travis, Payton, Ellie, and Tegyn best of luck on the next part of their journey! We also offer them our most sincere gratitude. The dedication, discipline, and sacrifice that have allowed them to take this next step has not only impacted who they are as students, athletes, and humans- it has positively impacted our school and community.

In addition, we'd like to thank their families and friends, who have helped make their success possible and for being an example of what we mean when we say it takes a family commitment for our athletes, and by extension our programs, to be successful.

We look forward to seeing these accomplishments these five have ahead, and hope that they remember that no matter what mascot is on their jersey or what colors they wear, they are always a Mustang!
