Mill Creek Principal Update

Message from the Principals

Dear Mill Creek families,

Our staff is so excited to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week. This is always a wonderful way to kick off the month of May. Thank you for all the amazing door decorations, as well as the treats you sent in for everyone. We feel the love!

May is a very busy month at Mill Creek. Please be sure you are paying close attention to communication from your child's teacher. Field Day, field trips, and various end-of-year celebrations are coming our way, and we want to make sure all of our Cougars enjoy the fun!

We would love to see a great crowd at our Cougar Choir Performance and Art Walk this Thursday, May 7 from 6-7:30 pm. Thank you to Mr. Walker, Mrs. Clark, and Mrs. VonderHaar for their hard work in preparing our students for this wonderful evening.

Our basketball and cheer teams will wrap up their seasons this coming Saturday at the final tournament. Both teams won their games this past Saturday and are looking strong. We will send out more information regarding playing times when we receive it.

This time of year we also like to communicate changes that will be coming to our school. Mrs. Jurgens and Mrs. Sarah Schneider will be leaving us to join the staff at Eagle Bluffs Elementary. Mrs. Farris will be moving to fifth grade. Mrs. Janette Henry will officially be retiring for a second time. And Mrs. Heather Myers will also be retiring after 30 years in teaching. We wish everyone lots of luck on their journeys!

Thank you so much for another incredible school year at Mill Creek. We truly have the best students, families, and staff! We look forward to another amazing school year starting in August.
