Where Little Explorers Grow

Our program offers a safe and nurturing play-based environment for children ages 3–5, where holistic development is at the heart of everything we do. By balancing structured learning with child-led exploration, we foster curiosity and creativity through hands-on activities rather than academic drilling. Supported by positive teacher interactions and a well-equipped space,

we focus on social-emotional growth and key developmental milestones to give your child a joyful, confident start.

We have exciting news..... We have exciting news.....

Dear Pompton Lakes Community:

We are writing to share some wonderful news regarding the future of our daycare programs. As part of our commitment to creating a vibrant, integrated learning environment, all of our daycare classes will be coming together at the Ramapo Avenue Learning Center, effective September 2026. We are sharing this news now to ensure our families have ample time to plan ahead for next year. The primary goal of this move is to bring our staffing and services "under one roof." Operating from a single, specialized location allows our teachers and specialists to collaborate in real-time, ensures all support services are centrally located, and fosters a stronger sense of belonging for our families. We are dedicated to making this transition as smooth and welcoming as possible. In the coming months, we will share more details and invite you to visit the classrooms to see the space for yourself. We are so excited to welcome all of our families into this unified setting and thank you for being such a vital part of our community.

Respectfully,

Dr. Paul Amoroso, Superintendent / Dr. Nicholas V. Vancheri, Superintendent

Pompton Lakes Public Schools / Northern Region Educational Services Commission
