Brief Message From the Principal
Dear SLS Families,
As we enter into the month of October, we are enjoying the beautiful fall colors and cooler autumn weather that God has blessed us with. October is always filled with so many wonderful school activities, so please be sure to check our school communications regularly to stay up to date on everything happening in our community.
Here are a few important announcements and updates:
Dismissal & Parking Lot Safety: Thank you so much for being so respectful of the rules in the back parking lot during car line dismissal! Your patience and adherence to traffic rules truly help keep all of our children safe each day.
Trunk or Treat Date Change: Please note that our annual Trunk or Treat date has changed! It will now take place on Friday, October 23rd at 6:30 PM. Keep an eye out for a flyer coming home soon with more details.
Parent/Teacher Conferences & Academics: We will hold our Parent/Teacher conferences at the end of October. Children should attend the Parent/Teacher conferences to ensure that they engage in their education. This is especially true in 4th - 8th grades. Please log in to Option C to stay current with how your child is performing academically. If you have any questions or are unsure of how your child is doing in a specific subject after checking Option C, please feel free to reach out to their teacher directly.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support of our school community.
God Bless,
Sister Carolyn Braun, IHM
