Digital Breakout on Coding
A few weeks ago, I mentioned Digital Breakouts in my newsletter. If you're a fan of Breakout EDU, Digital Breakouts are a must see! They allow individuals and small groups of students to search for clues on a webpage. Clues may be hidden in the text on the page or in embedded videos, images, and links. Some clues may lead to puzzles that students need to solve to determine the combinations to the digital locks. Like Breakout EDU, students have 45 minutes to solve the puzzles and open the digital locks.
Check out this awesome digital breakout (Going Buggy) that incorporates coding!
Google's Santa Tracker
Google's Santa Tracker is up and running for the month of December! Here are three coding games to help kids of all ages learn the basics of coding. They are a must see!
Make Music
Create your own music with Scratch. Choose from a variety of instruments and make your own rhythm. Activity cards and a workshop guide are provided.
Ditch That Textbook Digital Summit
The Ditch That Textbook Digital Summit is a FREE, nine-day virtual event that takes place from December 15-23. A different presentation will be released each day that discusses technology, pedagogy, and more. Each video will be 30-60 minutes and will be accompanied by a notes page that highlights the key details. Click here to learn more and sign up for a free ticket.
