eDCSD Online Middle School Update

Tomorrow night is our fall Open House from 3 - 6 PM! Join us at our office 373 Inverness Parkway, Suite 207, Englewood, CO 80016 for parent teacher conferences, student photos and IDs, Yeti school gear sale. New this year, we will have a food truck available for you to purchase dinner or snacks. This is a great time to meet with staff, learn more about your student's progress, and learn more about the support we can provide.
Next week is also Spirit Day for Middle School. It will be School Color Day so wear your Yeti Gear or wear Navy, Teal, or Green).

eDCSD Open House - September 18th 3 - 6 PM
On Thursday, September 18th from 3 - 6 PM, we will hold our Fall Open House at our building, 373 Inverness Parkway, Suite 207, Englewood, CO 80112.
While at Open House, we will have:
- Parent Teacher Conferences
- School Photos
- eDCSD Gear Sale
- Food Truck will be on site available to purchase meals
Registration Paperwork Reminder
All families in all programs: Do not forget to return the Online Affidavit sent and return it via email. The state requires this form each year of all students who participate in online programming.
High School Summit Students Only: Registration paperwork was sent out last week. If you have not done so, please return this as soon as possible.
Due Date Policy 2025 - 2026
At eDCSD, our goal is to help students develop healthy work habits and time management skills.
Work each week will be assigned on Wednesday morning and will be due the following Tuesday night at 11:59 PM.
Students will be able to submit the work for an additional two weeks after the Tuesday night deadline. After an assignment has been open for 3 weeks, the assignment will close and will no longer be available for submission.
We hope that this policy helps to encourage students to work synchronously with the class while still allowing for the flexibility that eDCSD families desire.
Blended Learning Days
Blended Learning is held at 373 Inverness Parkway Suite 207, Englewood, CO 80112.
While at Blended, students will participate in projects and activities to support relationships between the teachers and students as well as peer connections. In addition, all staff including administrators, counselors, tech support, school psychologist, learning coach, learning specialist, and office staff are available to support students with any questions or needs.
Middle School: Wednesdays 9 AM - 12:30 PM - Required Attendance
Mrs. Anne Roberts - eDCSD French Teacher
Mrs. Roberts is the French teacher at eDCSD for levels Middle School 1A , 1B, High School 1 - 4, and AP. She has been with eDCSD for over 12 years. An Introduction from our Learning Coach, Mrs. Penzenstadler
My name is Laurie Penzenstadler, and I am thrilled to introduce myself as your new Learning Coach for eDCSD. As we prepare to begin the 25-26 academic year, I wanted to reach out and welcome you to what I know will be an exciting and successful journey.

NEW 2025-2026 Device Check Out Process - Please Read!
Say goodbye to paper forms! We're excited to announce that our student device checkout process has gone fully digital for the 2025-2026 School Year.
eDCSD Online Student Device Loan Agreement
25-26 eDCSD Online Computer Request
Students are required to pay a refundable deposit of $100 (payable in MySchoolBucks) to check-out a device. The $100 deposit fee will be added to the student account in MySchoolBucks after the request is submitted. Students will receive an email with pick-up information after the deposit has been paid in MySchoolBucks.
School Lunch at Blended Learning
All students may pick up a free school sack lunch while at blended learning provided by Nutrition Services. If students would prefer, they may bring their own lunch or snack.
Virtual Parent Orientation for Quarter 1
We hosted virtual parent orientation on Monday, August 25th from 5:30 - 6:30 PM for our eDCSD Online Community.
We discussed how to find resources, the why and how of setting up parent Canvas accounts, due date policies, and tips for supporting a student in your home.
