8th Grade Newsletter
September 2026
Welcome, 8th Grade Families!
Happy October! It’s hard to believe we are already a month into the school year. Our 8th grade Dragons have been settling into their routines, building relationships, and continuing to grow as learners and members of our school community.
As we move through the fall, this is a great time to check in with your student about how things are going. Encourage them to stay organized, keep up with assignments, attend school regularly, and ask for help when they need it. These habits will continue to be important as they prepare for the transition to high school.
We also encourage our 8th graders to take advantage of the many opportunities available at AIS, including clubs, athletics, activities, and other ways to get involved. These experiences help students discover their interests, build confidence, and strengthen their connection to our Dragon community.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support. We are excited to see our 8th grade Dragons continue to grow and make the most of this important year!
