From The West Seneca Central School District
Hello West Seneca Central School District,
While the snow sure is beautiful, it's also making things a bit tricky out there... so, due to the forecasted weather conditions, the West Seneca Central School District will be closed tomorrow, Monday, January 26th, 2026.
We want everyone to stay safe and warm at home, so please note that this closure includes:
- The Before & After School program,
- All Community Education Classes,
- All athletic practices and contests,
- And all musical rehearsals, practices, and concerts.
❄️Be safe, stay warm & I hope that your hot cocoa-to-marshmallow ratio is strictly one-to-one!❄️
📁Is all of your information up to date?📁
As parents/guardians we get busy with everyday life and sometimes forget that our information has changed or updated. We have all been there!
So here are some reminders for you to be sure you are up to date and receiving your students' school alerts along with our district alerts via Email, SMS(Text) & Phone:
- Check your contact information on the PowerSchool Parent Portal(from a web browser) - under "Registration Agreements"...if anything is wrong, make sure you submit changes or reach out to your student's school main office to correct that information with them.
- In your personal email provider's inbox, make sure you add us to your address book as "noreply@wscschools.org".
- When you see an email come through from us, make sure you open it so your email learns that we are a safe sender...and we promise not to spam you!
💙Thank you for being an active partner in your child's education!💚
