Challenge Success - Virtual Student Shadow Day
Utt Principal, Heather Bojorquez, shared this idea with her teaching staff --
As we begin to think about the 4th week of Distance Learning and the DL fatigue some of you, students, and parents might be feeling, now is a good time to walk in the shoes of a student.
Prior to our school closure we had a Shadow Day scheduled as a result of our work with Challenge Success. I would like to invite you to spend some time and try to navigate the Distance Learning life of a student.
Just email me the name a student and I will send you his/her schedule as well as a Virtual Shadow protocol and reflection document.
It would be great to hear some teacher feedback on what it's like to navigate through the Distance Learning life of a student.

Language Academy Year 2 Celebration
The Language Academy Year 2 teachers are sharing their glow(s) and grow(s) on this, collaborative slide deck. Please feel free to leave comments in the note section of your teacher or teachers' slide. We would like to recognize their two year commitment to learning and shifting their instructional practices to support their English Learner students.
Unfortunately, we are not able to celebrate the teachers the way the way we originally planned. Taking some time to honor their work with feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Language Academy Year 2 will have a short Google Meet on April 23rd at 3:15 to quickly celebrate if you would like to join that too.

If you have any questions, please contact Alison Bruner.
CSF/CJSF Grading Information
CSF/CJSF states that it is at the chapter’s discretion. They recommend that adviser’s be sensitive to the current climate and local policies.
