Primary Principal Search Feedback Needed Primary Principal Search Feedback Needed

Dear Primary Families,

I am retiring as the principal of Woodland Primary School in June 2025. It has been an honor to be a part of the Primary School and District #50 family. I have enjoyed working with so many families and staff members since my start here in 2008. Woodland Primary is an amazing school and the search is on for the best candidate! Please read the message from Dr. Machak regarding the principal search for Woodland Primary School. Your input is appreciated!

With Principal Stacey Anderson's set to retire in June, Woodland CCSD 50 has begun the search for our next Primary School Principal. Your input into helping us identify the "right fit" for this position is important. Thank you for taking a few minutes to share you feedback with us. Please submit this survey no later than Friday, December 27.

eLearning Kits for Primary eLearning Kits for Primary

Earlier in November I features our eLearning Plan and all students received an eLearning Kit. Because the Primary School isn't a 1:1 school, meaning every student isn't issued a device, if there is an eLearning day called due to weather or another emergency, our students will be doing activities at home and these bags contain the materials needed to complete those assignments.

We ask that you keep these eLearning kits stored in a safe place so that they aren't opened before an eLearning Day.

Your child's eLearning kit will also have instructions on how to access the office hours with their codes and what is expected on an eLearning day. We know that our age group of students (3-6 years old) that the hands on activities we are assigning will be something that all students can do whether they are at home, at a grandparent's home or another setting.

The eLearning Plan for Primary is located on the button below. You would receive a notification through email and text if we were going to have an eLearning day. If you have questions about the eLearning tool kit, please reach out to your child's teacher.

Winter Weather=5 Points! Winter Weather=5 Points!

zoom_out_map

The snow has come and just a reminder that all students should come to school with the 5 points. This means a warm coat, hat, mittens, snow pants and boots. Without these items, students will not enjoy their recess time and students without boots and snowpants will not be allowed to play in the snow and will have to stay on the blacktop areas. Winter can be a fun time for our students, so please send them to school with all of the proper gear. Thank you!
