Please remind your child NOT to bring Pokémon cards to school. We have been seeing more and more show up and issues regarding them have been increasing. Please make sure to check with your child to ensure they are NOT bringing them to school. Thank you, we greatly appreciate your help in this matter!

Do you want to earn a pajama pass for your child? Take a minute and fill out the survey below, notify the your child's teacher(s) via seesaw that you've taken the survey, and the teacher will send home a pajama pass with them!

Whitehead has started working on a character trait per month in order to help our students grow in their social emotional health. This month we are working on EMOTIONAL REGULATION. We are working being aware of our emotions and that we are in control of our own emotions. A bad moment does not make a bad day! Please encourage your kiddo at home to develop these characteristics as we work through them each month!

Did you know you can buy our house apparel for less than the official Ron Clark House Store? You absolutely can and more at our Whitehead Spirit Store!!

Every week on Friday, students will have the opportunity to purchase various house colored items that they can wear or use on Fridays during our House Assemblies! Please make sure to send as close to exact change as possible!

Nurse’s Nook

Just a few health reminders as we wrap up the school year!

• Kindergarten families – If you haven’t already, please remember to submit your child’s vision and dental exam forms by May 15, 2025.

• 2nd grade families – A dental exam is also required and due by May 15, 2025.

• 5th grade families – It’s not too early to plan ahead! Your student will need a school physical and updated vaccinations to start 6th grade. Beat the summer rush by scheduling early and turning in documentation to the Whitehead School Nurse.

Thank you for helping us keep our students healthy and ready to learn!

As a treat and send off for our 5th graders, we are organizing a special Field Trip Field Day at Washington Elementary. Washington has participated in the house system for 4 years now and we are looking to foster a relationship with our house families. It will be run just like our usual field day activities but with a heavier focus on the four Houses. In order for this to run as smoothly as possible, we need volunteers to help run stations or even just help with the classes. You would need to be here at Whitehead at approximately 8:30am to leave at 9am on the bus. We will be returning to Whitehead at approximately 11:30am. If you are interested, please contact the office to fill out a Volunteer form!

5th Grade House Field Day- Friday, May 23, from 8:30-11:30.
