THANK YOU to Kelly Schneider for working on updating our PTA Bylaws this year. We appreciate the time and effort you are putting in to keep everything current and our PTA up-to-date and compliant!

THANK YOU to Tracy Boyd and Jaci Parmakis for going above and beyond on the traffic team. We appreciate the extra time you take to put out cones and set the signs out each morning and afternoon. Your dedication to keeping our kids safe does not go unnoticed!

Are you ready to Pack the Piggy, Patton? The Arlington Heights Council of PTA’s (AHC-PTA) funds $15k annually in scholarships for former D25 graduating seniors in D214. This year, the AHC-PTA will be running it’s 4th “Pack the Piggies” fundraiser across the district to raise money for these scholarships.

The contest begins March 10 and goes through March 14, which gives us 5 days to pack our piggy to reach our goal! Each district school’s goal is to raise $1 per student. Our school's goal is $378. If we reach our school goal, there will be a prize awarded to all students (more details to come). To help reach our goal, students can bring in coins, cash, or checks (made out to the AHC-PTA) and pack our piggy! Let’s have some fun for a great cause starting Monday, March 10!

On Tuesday, March 18th, Color Portraits will be back at Patton to take class photos. Students will also have the opportunity to represent Patton’s various clubs and groups. If your child is a part of any clubs or groups, they will get to have an additional group picture taken for the yearbook. All 5th graders should plan to wear their 5th grade class shirts to school for the 5th grade class photo. Check out the order form for more information.

4th and 5th graders bring your friends and join Mrs. Goumas for Running Club.

Running Club meets on Mondays in April (4/7, 4/14, 4/28) from 3:35-4:30. Each session will begin with a warm-up, 30 minutes of running at your own pace and a cool-down. Use this link to sign up. More information will be sent to your email before the first session. Sign up before April 2nd to secure your spot.

Come see all that we do and learn more about where our budget goes, upcoming activities, hear from Mrs. Chin, and more. We promise we won’t make you volunteer for anything unless you want to! After the meeting, join us for a meetup somewhere fun to be social and meet some new people. Hope to see many of your faces there!

The League of Women Voters is hosting non-partisan Candidate Forms for residents to become informed before the election this spring. Those in attendance are welcome to submit questions to the candidates or just listen!
