“Foster Growth by Challenging Critical Thinkers to Take Risks,

Honor Differences & Care for Others”

A WONDERFUL HOLIDAY MARKET A WONDERFUL HOLIDAY MARKET

As the holiday season approaches, we are thrilled to share that our students had a wonderful time getting into the holiday spirit by shopping for gifts for their loved ones at our annual Holiday Market! It was a heartwarming experience as they carefully selected the perfect presents for their parents, grandparents, and siblings. With big smiles, they made sure to wrap each package with care, ready to surprise and delight their families.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of our parents and parent volunteers who made this cherished school tradition possible. Your support and dedication truly made this event special for our students. It is a beautiful reminder of the kindness and generosity that fills our school community.

SPECIALS ENSURE A WELL-ROUNDED EDUCATION SPECIALS ENSURE A WELL-ROUNDED EDUCATION

We believe that a well-rounded education is key to fostering students' growth and development. Our Specials program, which includes Art, Music, Physical Education, Library, Spanish, and S.T.E.M.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math & Movement), plays an essential role in helping students thrive both academically and personally. These subjects provide students with unique opportunities to explore creativity, develop new skills, and apply their learning in diverse ways.

Our Specials program not only offers exposure to the arts and a variety of sports and physical activities, but it also enhances the core curriculum by offering engaging, hands-on learning experiences. Recently, in S.T.E.M.M., students participated in exciting science experiments aligned with grade-level science standards.

For example, third-grade students had the chance to explore the fascinating concept of magnetism. They experimented with how magnets move and interact with different materials, sparking their curiosity and scientific thinking. Meanwhile, our first graders dove into the concept of light and shadow, creating shadow puppets to observe how shadows change based on light sources.

As students progress into the math portion of the S.T.E.M.M. program, they will continue to develop their critical thinking and problem-solving skills. By applying math to real-world scenarios, they will learn to reason through complex challenges and strengthen their ability to think creatively and logically.

Through our Specials program, we aim to nurture a well-rounded education that inspires a lifelong love of learning and helps our students develop essential skills for success in all areas of life.

Thank you for supporting our students' learning journey!

Each year, Legend High School proudly brings together our feeder schools for a wonderful cause—Wish Week. During this special week, our school community raises money to grant the wish of a deserving child. It is an opportunity for us to unite and make a lasting difference in the life of a child, and we are excited to continue this tradition.

This year, we are gauging parents’ interest in a Parent’s Night Out on Saturday, January 25th, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. This event will provide parents with a chance to enjoy an evening out while supporting this important cause. If you would be interested in this opportunity, please take a moment to complete the brief survey linked here.

As always, we greatly appreciate your ongoing support in making Wish Week a success. Together, we can make a meaningful impact!
