BISD uses Anonymous Alerts

The Anonymous Alerts anti-bullying app and safety reporting system helps combat bullying and other negative activity in schools by empowering students to speak up. Social and peer pressure are some of the hardest obstacles for students to overcome.

The system allows for 1-way or 2-way anonymous encrypted communications between submitters (students, parents or community members) and District administration and/or school staff. Users of the system have the option to remain anonymous or reveal their identity when submitting a report.

How does it work?

To use this revolutionary new app, students, parents or other school personnel can simply visit the

Birdville ISD website and click on the Anonymous Alerts® button or text link to submit a report expressing their concern. Anonymous Alerts® mobile applications can be downloaded directly from the Apple, Google Play or Chrome stores.

Birdville ISD supplies an activation code to students, making the app remarkably easy to use and students select which school the message should go to. In addition, informational posters explaining how to use the app will be displayed throughout schools and offices in the District.

Dear Warrior Family,

We want to keep you informed of safety and security measures we are continuing to take by providing you the same expectations and responsibilities we will be presenting to the students below:

  • Students may arrive on campus beginning at 8:00 am. There is no supervision of students before 8:10 UNLESS students have made arrangements for tutorials or have an assigned practice. Please do not drop your student off early without ensuring they are safe and supervised!
  • All students not involved in extracurricular activities must exit campus immediately after school (4:00 p.m.).
  • House Bill 114 now requires mandatory DAEP placement for any student caught with (whether using or not), selling, or delivering vapes. Please make sure your student is not in possession of any vape (e-cigarette). We would appreciate you educating your student on this new law!

Thank you,

Shannon Houston Shedd, principal

Gary Chipman, assistant principal

Dr. Marnie Choate, assistant principal
