Tuesday and Wednesday's from 3:00 - 4:30 in Ms. Hammond's classroom.

Open to ANY student wanting to grow and challenge their math ability. Students do not have to attend each session. They may attend when it fits with their schedule.

We are excited to recognize students who made the A or AB Honor Roll with a ceremony on Thursday, November 13, at 1:50 PM, in the auditorium. Families are invited to attend and your child may leave school with you after the ceremony. We will recognize both 7th and 8th graders at this program.

As our students start the second nine weeks of the school year, we have another resource to help you stay connected through "Campus Parent," the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. You can view this edition of BCS Parent University to learn more and see some of the app's features in action.

As we continue with our Heart of a Hawk Kindness fundraiser, PTO is offering a weekend incentive challenge. Any student who receives at least one donation over the weekend (Friday through Sunday) will be entered into a drawing for a $50 Amazon gift card.

PTO is hosting A Kindness Festival in order to give kids another chance to do good deeds towards their bingo card and support community building. With parent permission, students may stay after school from 3-5 pm and participate in different kindness activities. We will have several tables hosted by PTO as well as tables hosted by outside non-profit organizations (i.e. AVL Humane Society and WyldLife) with activities for the students to complete.

Following this Kindness Festival, students are invited to stay for the United Way Community Night, beginning at 5 PM.

Permission forms will be sent home later this week.

Tennessee Lady Vol and NB Alumni Karlyn Pickens is coming home! Not only that, but she is coming to NBMS with her teammates for Kamp Karlyn's Winter Clinic on December 7. There are a limited number of spots remaining in each session. If your daughter loves softball, they won't want to miss this once in a lifetime opportunity to learn from Karlyn, other members of the Lady Vols, and Liberty University Flames softball teams - some of the best softball players in the nation!
